Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Shlesinger born February 22, 1983 , is an American comedian actor, actress, TV host as well as executive producer and screenwriter. She won the NBC show Last Comic Standing 2008 and is now the host of the syndicated dating show Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.
Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 on her own late-night talkshow. In 2022, she's released six comedy specials on Netflix. Netflix launched her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to an Jewish family from New York City. [6] She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved when she was just a little girl. She went to the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas, where she studied Spanish and participated in the school's improvisation group.
Shlesinger was a performer at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She was also a part-time participant in Semester at Sea. She then went on to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. She majored in film. There, she improved her editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy sketch group for students on campus.

Shlesinger graduated from college and moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one of the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
