Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well famous for her performances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she made her debut acting in the year 2003. First noticed in 2005 for the role of Anna which was featured on Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's the rights of women) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind was also recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a 3rd season. Hind has completed the production of the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is set for release in mid-2019.
