Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968, is an American actress. Her most famous work is for her performances in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was brought up in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson Her father was a teacher. He was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois]), close to Chicago). Carlson is of Swedish descent, with roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College , and early career
Her first exposure to Hollywood through her performance as a background actress in the film Lucas starring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She later followed her elder sister Betsy to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
